This silk plush top hat was made by Scott & Co. of Old Bond Street, Piccadilly for William C. Bullitt (WCB) who was US Ambassador to Russia from 1933 - 1936 and Ambassador to France from 1936 - 1940.

1924 ID'd Men's Fur Lined Wool Top Coat London Label
Men's clothing from any era is hard to find in any style and this rare fur lined overcoat is no exception. Made in November of 1924 by Callaghan of 10 Maddox Street, London for William C. Bullitt, who would become the first US Ambassador to the Russia.
